Likely another economic meltdown in October 2010

I was correct in predicting a possible the economic meltdown in late 2008.

But I was wrong in predicting a second stock market crash in October 2009.

However, in October 2010 the same factors make it likely another economic meltdown (significant stock market fall). This is after the depressing effects of the cardinal climax of August 2010, when all the outer planet cycles become waning (i.e. negative effect in economy). In October 2010, transiting Mercury, Sun and Mars also turn waning in aspect to all the other outer planets (like it was in September 2008). This makes a stock market crash more likely.

We keep our old prediction that a global recession/depression will continue between 2011 and 2019, and only around 2025 there will be a great economic and technological expansion.

26 October 2009 - A Stock Market crash ?

In next 26 October, a perfect grand square (using a heliocentric approach) between Mars, Uranus, Pluto and Saturn, may signal a stock market crash or some unpredictable event that causes markets to turn significantly downwards.

If you see my former post, one week ago, I have pointed out that stock market crashes occur when during a Uranus/Saturn alignment, transiting Mars or Earth conjuncted, opposed or squared that alignment. This is of course, using an heliocentric approach to a horoscope map, instead of the common geocentric approach.

Back in the early months of 2008, I was predicting (in http://www.astrotransits.blogspot.com/) that we (worldwide) would be approaching an economic depression in the late months of 2008 or early months of 2009, into the next decade. In fact, I even pointed out a market scare, around the early days of October, as we were approaching the typical Uranus/Saturn opposition, it was the typical month of October, and there were several predictions (Lucky days, Webbot, etc) pointing to this. And I was correct with my prediction, and these other guys were also correct: it occured!! The big economic meltdown was occuring.

Now, my heliocentric system predicts some charged period for the late days of October, with a tense astrological alignment which occurs typically in stock market crashes. Now, the webbot also predicts a powerful economic event for this week.

I think I was totally wrong to rely in a geocentric approach to predict stock market variations. Although it shows some correlation, most stock market crashes in the past occur when there is a Uranus/Saturn configuration triggered by transiting Mars or Earth, as I have shown before.

A Pluto/Saturn, which occurs this autumn, is also a heavy time and a significant turning point (last time was 2001, backwards was 1991, 1982, 1974, 1966, 1956, 1947, 1938, 1931). All these years include important socio-economic changes! Respectively, the economic depression, the start of world war II, the end of world war and Roswell, Suez crises, the sixties agitation start, a oil crises, a cold war tension, and the sovietic fall. It frequently correlates with wars with Israel (1948, 1956, 1967, 1973) and crises in the Middle East, and nuclear tensions (1956, 1973, 1982, 2000), so I naturally predict these to happen again.

Whether a stock market crash or a Middle East conflict, to occur in near future, we remain to know. Hopefully, not the first and neither the other.

Heliocentric Astrology aspects and Stock Market crashes. Next one in 23-28 October 2009?

If we use heliocentric astrology, we can tentatively predict stock market crashes, the first thing, is that usually there is an important aspect between Uranus and Saturn, or between Uranus and another outer planet.

Particularly relevant is when we have a T-square between three outer planets, or an aspect of these outer planets in cardinal cusps or signs. Examples include 1873, 1893, 1907, 1929-1931, 1987 and 2008-2010.

When transiting (heliocentric) Earth, Mars or Mercury aspects the outer planets, namely Uranus or Saturn, a stock market crash is likely to occur (but not 100% of the times!)

Examples:

• In 12.09.2008 and 06.10.2008 when both heliocentric Earth and Mercury aligned with Saturn-Uranus opposition, we had our recent global economic meltdown
• There was also a significant aspect in the 1987 October crash (Mars square Saturn-Uranus) and also in the panics of 18.09.1873 (Mars opposition Uranus, conjunct Saturn) or 14.10.1907 (Earth squares Uranus-Neptune, Mercury conjunct Uranus, Mars conjunct Saturn).
• In the 1929 crash, the downturn started between in late September, when there were a series of hard aspects from Earth to Saturn, Uranus and Pluto occured, but only a small Mercury square Uranus, and Mercury conjunct to Pluto.

Nothing happened in 18.09.2009 (when Earth aspected Uranus-Saturn) and so my prediction was wrong.

We can now look forward to 23-28 October 2009 when both Mars and Mercury aspect the Saturn-Uranus to see what happens, and form a grand cross with Pluto.
Before that, in 5 October, Mercury also squares Uranus-Saturn. However, it's the late October Mars square that seems very likely to cause a crash, although I am not sure about it.

Nearly all the crashes occur in September or October.

If not, there are still major transits next year, with plenty of important cardinal configurations, similarly to what happened in 1931. In April 1931, there was a grand cross between Earth, Pluto/Jupiter, Uranus and Saturn, when a sustained and major declined occured again.
We will have similar configurations in:

• 23-28 October 2009
• 17-20 December 2009
• 15-22 March 2010
• 3-11 and 23-27 June 2010
• 21-24 September 2010
• 1-20 December 2010
